My Right to Unlimited Rights

The Dali Bama is now re-writing our Consitutional rights.  This guy should have studied more when he was working for a Constitutional Professor.  What did the Dali Bama do for him, get his coffee?

After spending only a little time listening to followers of the Dali Bama I have concluded that, in Obama’s America, everyone gets to declare at least one new fundamental right regardless of whether it is written into the constitution. And so, naturally, I am going to declare first that I have a right to unlimited rights. (This is sort of like making one’s only wish a request for unlimited wishes).

My second declaration of a new right is a little more complicated. First, I believe that I have a right to demand that you show me a copy of the U.S. Constitution every time you demand a new right. And if you cannot identify the constitutional basis of your proposed right, you forfeit that right as well as your right to vote in 2008. And, of course, I get to cast the vote you forfeited. Obama IS a constitutional law professor. Some people sure are ignorant.

Thank you Myra for demonstrating your ignorance.  I love it when you do that.

Obama worked for a Constitutional Law Professor.  Obama doesn't know a Constitution from a Continental 4 door.

And, get this, "he's so smart".  LOL.

Maxim will never check your sources or apologize.  It's a lost cause Myra.  I'm sure you already knew that.

Max has fallen off his rocker.

I check sources and Obama was a part-time Lecturer. A titled Professor would slap you silly for the blatant exaggeration of Obama's university job duties.

Curiosity drives the cat.  Here's what the Law School says:

Are they considered a credible source?

I think this disagreement as to whether Obama was a Constitutional law professor vs. lecturer, vs. teacher is rather comical.

I would just hope Obama returns respect for the Constitution and Bill of Rights that has been trashed over the past 8 years.

Maxim,

I guess you'd know better than The University of Chicago Law School.

Hetty...notice how the University uses a little p with professor (in other words, a college teacher), and a big L with Lecturer. Obama no longer uses the professor title, but it took Hillary Clinton questioning his credentials for that to change.

Chicago's own Sun Times reporter, Lynn Sweet, confirmed that Obama was no Professor, and felt the University statement "did Obama no favor by saying he was a law professor when he wasn’t".

I feel vindicated too!

From Wikipedia: "Obama's election in February 1990 as the first black president of the Harvard Law Review was widely reported and followed by several long, detailed profiles. The publicity from his election as the first black president of the Harvard Law Review led to a contract and advance to write a book about race relations. In an effort to recruit him to their faculty, the University Law School provided Obama with a fellowship and an office to work on his book. He originally planned to finish the book in one year, but it took much longer as the book evolved into a personal memoir. In order to work without interruptions, Obama and his wife, Michelle, traveled to Bali where he wrote for several months. The manuscript was finally published as Dreams From My Father in mid-1995.".

What an amazing fellow... board member of a few muli-million dollar foundations, tenents rights organizer, Project Vote director, Con Law professor, associate in a law firm, and he still had time to takes months long vacations in Bali to finish a book that eventually made him a multi-millionaire. He truely is the Golden Boy.
