Can we be critical of Obama?

Or would that be seen as "insensitive", or "inflammatory"?

There are a ton of negatives floating around with regard to Obama, his past and his "plans".

If I remember correctly, when Geo Bush was running for Pres, the last time, no one could find any negatives that were newsworthy.  So the left came up with "Rathergate".  And that may have won the Pres for him.

But with Obama we constantly hear of a shady past.  Of plans to decimate our defense system in favor of funneling the money to "special communities".  We hear of Socialist views of taxes.  Using taxes to change our culture.  Using taxes to punish those that have worked and increased their earning.  We are hearing that investors will taxed to force them out of the market.  Obama said, "that would be fair".

The emails about Obama, his past and plans, are downright shocking and anti american.  Can this man bring down our nation if elected?  Is that part of the "Plan", part of the "change" where we never hear specifics?

Yes Q, you are entitled.

I don't see the post as inflammatory and it's only insensitive to we who have our feelings out on our toes...

May I ask which nation will he bring down?

May I ask what culture will taxes change?

As the OP said, we never hear specifics...

Btw,
We are hearing that some are hearing that its been reported that the Swift boaters are coming to report that their boats were in Indonesia and Illinois and they know all about Senator BO.

Regards...

He will bring down the US.  He has never said one good thing about the US, except that it needs to be "changed".

The culture that he will bring down, is one of prosperity, of working to achieve something better.

Wrightgate and Bittergate are important.  They do reflect on his character.  They do reflect on what he thinks of the United States of America.  They do reflect on him as an elitist.  You cannot call Wrightgate and Bittergate "swiftboats".  He created "wrightgate" with his first, acceptance, then, approval and finally denoucement.  HOw you would change that in to "swiftboating" is not clear.

He created "bittergate" with what he referred to as a gaffe.  Then I saw his speech on youtube, where he emphasized over and over and over again that "words are important".  Then he says, "no, words aren't important, they are just gaffes and comments".   Which is it.  Are words important?  Or not?

The leftist media is working over time to get this guy elected.  When Bush was running they were working overtime and lying (Rathergate) to get him defeated.  Maybe, what the media approves of, the nation sees through and disapproves of.

Q,

I have heard Obama publicly state, more than once, that he loves this country and that only in this country would his candidacy ever be possible. If he was so racist as many have claimed on these posts, and if he hated this country so much, then why would so many people be supportive of him? I wouldn't support him if the charges made by you and others were true.

S,

First before we address your question, maybe we should address your statement that he loves his country.  Let's dig in to this a little.

His church of 20 years, that has catapulted him into the political arena, does not love it's country.

His wife never loved her country (recently she got "proud" of it, because she see's power within her grasp)

He says that the country is so bad, that it needs some kind of change.  That doesn't sound like someone that "loves" his country.

How can you possibly say that he loves his country.  Everything that he says and does suggest otherwise.

Now for the 2nd part... why are so many so supportive of him?  What is "so many"?  He got a free ride up front when he was not connected with Wrightgate and Bittergate.  Just look at the results in W. Va., a predominate Dem state.  I think he got a third of the vote.  That does not represent "so many".  He admits that he he dependent on the race vote.  Some are saing that they will only vote for him because of his race..... is that "so many"?   Is that enough to get elected?  Just because he has a back drop of a certain color of people behind him when he makes speeches, does not equate to "so many".  Ask Michelle Obama, she asked for more white people behind him when he speaks.

He has never said what kind of foriegn policy he would have, other than he wll reach out to all.  We took that to mean, and that is what he meant, when he said it, to terrorist.

His tax plans are "raise taxes".  And he said that he wants to use taxes as punishment to those that have more than others.  He called it and I quote "fair", to use our tax system for cultural engineering.

He says he would be the President of all the people, but his background suggest otherwise.

I am sure some will find my post as "inflammatory".  Those that cannot and do not want to face the truth, must do everything in their power to stop all but the media propaganda as being the only discussion permitted with regard to this guy.

"So many"?

I guess that, that is about the only thing that you can say

The more that we get to know about Obama, the more difficult it is to defend him.
