Last night I caught the news brief , that Congressman Steve Buyer (R) IN. plans to submit a bill in the house  TODAY to allow the immediate exploration and drilling on all federal lands. IMO this should be favorable to those that own ( DUG ). For more on that Proshares TR Ultra short oil & gas fund see the STOCKS forum. Best regards, Don

My details are at best sketchy. Just now in the news , he called for responsible drilling in the Artic wildlfe territories , construction of more nuclear power plants, & coal gasification.

Thanks Herb, That's the one.  I just filled up the Harley-Davidson M/C w/ 94 octane tonight @ $4.25 per gallon. It gets up to 52.7 mpg though, and getting there and coming home is fun. I watched my 6 yr. old great-grandson play Tee-ball little league tonight. Of course he was the best one on the team. ( ha! ). Best regards, Don

Sorry, this is no challenge to opec. This just plan politics. What do really need is more economist and industrialist in the congress. Those who understand business and improve the state of economy. Our congress made up of lawyers who knows how to make speeches as if they are in the courtroom defending their failures.

Alez, The bill has been submitted HR 6001. When Mr. Buyer anounced that he was submitting this bill in 2 different locations, ie downtown Monticello & Lafayette IN. NONE of the national news media cared to come and cover this event. Whereas HE said, " If I was submitting a bill to save the polar bear there would no doubt have been many." He also said that the ONLY way this bill will be sucessful is for the American people to put pressure on our legislators.  Best regards, Don
