The title is a video available via the T-C home page; it is by Brett Hammond and it is quite good. It is in three chapters of which the last is on their view of the rest of 2008. You can access at the home page or via this link.

Hi Ray,

Thanks for posting . . . my first reaction is that even f he still likes real estate that may not be "actionable" information for TREA investors given that 2/3 of the properties may last have been appraised in the good times, and, for that matter, that it would be nice if a company that thinks EM prospects may be "spectacular" to have an EM fund, but perhaps I'm unduly influenced by the latest set of customer service inconveniences brought me by the company (though they actually finally got resolved).

All best,

Pete

Sorry to hear you had a problem. I did recently also but it got resolved quite quickly.

There was nothing in the video that was exciting but it was a decent summary. They seem to be on page with Bernanke and friends which is where one would expect them to be. The brief statement about commercial real estate seemed to me to say things will be slow the rest of the year, which I/we already figured out! As for the appriasals, who knows; they might have expedited the schedule for doing them but even if they did, we would not hear about it.

If we are lucky the REA may produce  one to two percent in the fourth quarter but I am not counting on it.
