My 1 year old HP notebook seems like is dead. Screen was frozen and I double clicked mouse which led to blank screen. I tried to reboot the computer but nothing happened.

There is light above the key board where DVD, play, forward etc buttons are.

Any suggestions, what could be wrong, dead hard drive.

Does any one know any good technology/computer forum where I could as this question?

Ironically my  7 years old G4 titinium notebook is still working which I am using right now.
