i hate doing this, because i'd rather stay with my current positions, and oil has considerable mid and long-term upside, BUT the market almost forces my hand here.

what, exactly pray tell, has changed since mid-march?   are the banks any more solvent?  are foreign investors any more willing to finance a u.s. bailout?  has real estate gone up?  wtf?  xlf dec $20 puts at 55 CENTS! lmao!  that gives xlf something like a 100:1 odds of being lower than $20 by year end.  i don't think so?  we'll see for sure once the 2q statements from financials start coming out.  but, this is something that i am confident enough to place a big bet on...  or double down, whatever.
