Our daughter will be born soon, so my wife & I have decided to update our wills. I spoke with an attorney and he quoted me a price of $200 for a will, POA, and a another document- can't remember. I can download a each document from USlegalforms.com for a significant discount, however, would the documents from this site stand in court? Would I be better off taking the attorney's offer for added peace of mind?

Thanks,

Greg

Are you planning any elaborate provisions, like a trust for your child, or a decision tree as to whom would become guardian for your child depending on contingencies?  How much will you be paying to have the web forms notarized?

You're not gonna like my answer, Greg. I think something that important should be done through an attorney if not for the fact that states have different laws. And if you get a Will, POA and medical POA  or Trust for 200 bucks, it is well worth it.

I have been told that as long as they are properly witnessed , signed and notorized  they are ok. You can go to your bank for that. I'm doing the same thing with Legalzoom.com.
