This is an interesting product that cleans and deodorizes using silver ions. Anybody seen one or have first hand use information?

Is Samsung the first to try this concept?

The "silver ion technology" has been on the market for some time, but from what I've seen and researched (as a chemist and engineer), it's just a sales pitch.
