Does anyone know how to look at a graph of a particular stock's P/E compared with the S&P500 or some other general market index. This would be useful for me because as I am trying to value a stock, I like to see what the P/E is relative to past performance, peers, the industry, and the market in general. I'm not sure how to look at a graph of that last part (the stock's P/E vs. the market's P/E) using the Morningstar website.

Any tips would be really helpful!

Thanks,

It's not received many responses and since it's kind of academic I thought I'd post a link here also. Please let me know if you can have any ideas. Thanks.
