Suggestion - For the last post link, why not just chain the link to the last post time that you already have?

(For that matter, I'm more interested in being able to jump to the last post than in knowing how many seconds "old" it is.)

I will say however, that choosing reverse order does also help in navigation.

Holydoc,

Some users have indicated that they don't want to be asked about dividends and splits repeatedly. As such, we will be adding a new option that would allow users to hide these repeated notifications.

So dividends and splits aren't going away across the board, just by user preference.

Let me start by saying that I really love this feedback by Morningstar. Great job!

Now my one concern is the request to permanently remove dividends and splits in the Portfolio Manager. Why would you do that? I utilize the option to add dividends in Portfolio Manager whenever a fund allows. I do not understand why a feature would be removed if it does not harm (in this case helps) anything.

Updates to Discuss Forum Format

The new Favorite feature is here!
A new menu can be found on the top right corner of the main forum page. You now have easy access to your favorite forums, blogs and portfolios. If you would like to favorite a forum or blog, simply click the Favorite checkbox when viewing the page. If you want to receive e-mail updates when new posts hit your favorite forum or blog, check the Subscribe box.
It is even easier to find the most popular posts
Simply select the "Most read" option in the dropdown button under "Post". Combine this criterion with other options under "Time" or "Author" and together you will find the most popular posts in your desired time range or by your favorite authors.

Your Suggestions

Q: We would like preferred stocks to be covered, and taken into account in the X-Ray tool.
A: We are looking into expanding the coverage of preferred stocks.

Q: Can we permanently remove dividends and splits in Portfolio Manager?
A: We plan to launch this change in August.

Q: I would like to remove the "Realized Gain/Loss Since Purchase" in Portfolio Manager.
A: We are working to add "User Preferences" in Portfolio Manager that would allow the user to select what they want to see in their interface.

Q: It would be useful to increase the number of posts displayed on each Discuss page.
A: There are plans to include this feature as a setting you can set in the near future.

Your Feedback

Q: The lack of contrast between text and background in "Enhanced Portfolio Tracker" makes it hard to read.
A: This is a high on our list; we plan to address this within the next month.

Q: We would like to see more current news on Morningstar.com.
A: We have started using the middle column on our homepage to feature news updates. We are working on an update to our Markets page and plan to feature more current news update there.

Q: The new news organization in the new portfolio is "by holding". We would like to see "by date" instead.
A: We are working on a new release with this feature and we are estimating that it would be ready in the beginning of August.
