Tool to Find Which Fund(s) Invests in a Particular Stock JohnP4  09-04-2008, 7:41 AM | Post #2557687  |

I'm relatively new to Morningstar, so excuse this newbie question and if a response has already been posted somewhere.  I was wondering if there was a tool on the Morningstar site that would allow you to find out which managed mutual funds invested in a particular stock.  For instance, if I was interested in investing in Hewlett-Packard (but not solely HPQ), I'd like to know which funds (other than index) presently invested in it and what percentage of their holdings were in this stock.  Of course the fund could sell their shares in that stock at anytime, but I would think that such a tool would be helpful especially for equities that are not in the S&P 500 or other common equity indexes.

Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide in this matter.
