Many corporations pay $0 in income taxes. There are tremendous loopholes including the ability to move money to branches or offices in other countries (accounting is not what it used to be 20 yrs ago).  Are you aware that many CEO's making millions per year have their taxes also payed by the corporation. CEO's and Boards of Directors, along with many politicians, have learned how to rape the system legally. Tax shelters abound for the wealthy.

 Have you wondered why there is a limit on income over which SS taxes are no longer due. Yet, someone that is retired on over $100k per year is still collecting SS.

We are in a vicious circle , my friends. The wealthy control the rules. Don't anticipate things ever changing toward fairness. Until the mass of "average" Americans come together, there will be no change. Taxes will be increasing on you and me. The US is in a downward spiral, there will never be enough growth to offset our debt (however, this was believed and will always be believed by the Bush administration). And worse of all, neither candidate has a viable plan, because, a viable plan will send the US into a depression for several years. Hint: the S&P has gone nowhere for 10yrs...don't you think this is telling you something?
