I am a new subscriber to the DividendInvestor newsletter and
wonder if anyone has suggestions for getting started with this type of
investing.
There are currently 19 different stocks in the Builder
portfolio. Should I try to mimic the portfolio or pick and choose a few to
start with? What criteria should be used to pick and choose? How many stocks do
I really need in a well balanced, well diversified portfolio?
Should I purchase equal shares of each stock, or equal
dollar amounts of each stock?
Should the portfolio be re-balanced periodically, i.e. once
a year?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
