I appreciate the great feedback so far.  I currently have the following portfolio weightings in my 401K:

  • FAIRX / Fairholme (Large Blend) 36%
  • HAINX / Harbor International Instl (Foreign Large Value) 31%
  • JMCVX / Janus Mid Cap Value Investor (Mid-Cap Value) 21%
  • RHJSX / Rice Hall James Micro Cap (Small Growth) 10%
  • RYVFX / Royce Value Svc (Small Blend) 2%

I have been dollar cost averaging bi-monthly into RYVFX and JMCVX (I can add to these without any transaction fees).  I was considering adding to the mix of bi-monthly investments (through dollar cost averaging after initial purchase) a real estate fund (either TAREX or EGLRX) for diversification.  I would limit my portfolio weighting in this fund to ~5%.  I've got 20-25 years before retirement.
