Are we 190 out or 180 out (math error?)? I'll try again to discuss. The basic math of selling a fund at a loss of xx% means you locked in a loss of xx%, period. Whether you recoup that loss by some other means, i.e., buying back in low (if you're so lucky) or making some other investment is totally irrelevant. It's fairly simple math Tim. You sold at a loss.
