Jerry, that is question only you as an investor can't answer. But remember, Jerry, On another thread I related that I had already taken shares off the table(fredP had also done the same) and you had stated in the coversation>

A good flush of the "CRAPPER" is good for a portfolio in a down market.

"Cute statement Tim but completely wrong in my view. If you were going to flush that "Crapper", one year ago would have been a good time. I may have a high stock % in my AA, but to flush now? You must be a brave man. Nothing preached on this forum and little elsewhere would support that action."

Jerry

I'm not avocating that others take anything off the table, Jerry, but relating that I did! And that was quite some time ago. There may well be more down side to this mkt and my moves away from certian investments were made some time ago. And you did state that that "one year ago would have been a good time"......... As for "preaching on this forum, Jerry, this forum is not the Diehards of old where one was reminded daily that this forum was founded and supported by passive investors and that one could go elsewhere if timing, managed funds, individual stocks etc were mentioned. Passive investors on this forum are very willing to draw up portfolios, and suggest there is no evidence that managers of active funds are anything more than gamblers.
