You were looking for a BDC that invested heavily in Alternative Energy. It is not a BDC per se but with $4B under investment already and a goal of going to $6B in alt energy by 2010 it has to be the largest by far. That is a huge commitment but there is one difficulty. ALTEN

Yes ALD trades like a very volatile Fin -- all BDCs generally do. Of course there is a huge Short Interest in ALD of 9.5 days outstanding. The only BDC that doesn't trade like a Fin I know of is KED which is tied more to energy industry -- makes sense since it invests exclusively in MLPs.
