Hi Jerry

Sorry for jumping in before Tim had a chance to answer but I'd like to make a point about taking profits.

When you take a profit one should not liquidate the whole position just take some of the profit and maybe add it to your safe money like a Money Market fund.

My REIT, National heathcare properties (NHP), at one point I was up over 60% and I was tempted to sell it all but I held on to a small position and added to it during big market dips. Today I too enjoyed the gain.

BTW: Jim Jubak had a nice article today "Waiting out the Bear?". He doesn't think it's time to jump back into market even though some are saying the worst may be over.
