Both are preceded by by an NAV increase in the exact amount of the distribution.

I don't think that happens with CAIBX as the dividends accrue daily.  They explain this somewhere on the AF site, but I can't find it right now.

Hi Lili,

When a fund makes a distribution, be it CGs or dividends, it lowers the NAV by the same amount.  If you reinvest it all, then you buy more shares in the same amount as the distribution.  It doesn't matter how the dividends accrue.
