Nice Post

What does this charting tell you?

RE: A. If the objective is to Make the Most from your $?

B. With the Same or Lower Risk in Bear markets?

Told me back in 98/99 to move out of Bal. Index  Funds and into *AMBF's like :

DODBX

FPACX

LCORX

LAALX

OAKBX

OWRRX

PRWCX

PRPFX

And when they Get too Big? Move out!

That has been my only Bad experience  to the Downside of using *AMBF's

* Active Managed Balanced Funds  that use Bonds and Equities..

I prefer a More 50/50 Mix , so Added a Bond Fund ( LSBRX)

And Unless I'm Missing something, who in the Hell wants to own a Load fund,( like CIABX with a 6% Load and only a 10 yr apy of 8.35% & Only a 11% apy for 5 yrs )   While all the other No Load Bal Funds outperfrom it?  Looks like a Con Job to me..

and for a 70/30 aggressive mix? I think should have alot better performance..to compensate it's Downside risks.. The 70/30 Index Port I track did 8% apy for the same 10 yr period and almost +15% apy for past 5 yrs..

Looks to me that CIABX has sucummed to getting Too Big and has gone Flat and time to move on..Just like DODBX
