copie:

Any time all of you are ready to leave the dark side(funds) and come on over into the light(dividend stocks), I will have EILobo hold his hands over the water and they will part so you can come safely!!

(With the market the way it is we all need some fun).

Copie

Copie - I own both dividend producing stocks and funds that own dividend producing stocks.  Both the individual stocks and the funds are acting the same - I am seeing the price/NAV decrease but the dividends stay the same or increase (total amount stays the same or increase, yield increases since it is a percentage based on price/NAV).

I am paying a reasonable expense ratio on my funds so I don't see much of a difference between these two investments.  I am happy with both.
