Spring Change,   When I was growing up  we played Cowboys and Indians. We didn't have gangs. You came home when it got dark or your mother called.We did a lot of critical thinking because getting a failing grade got you a whipping from your father. You earned your treats by collecting refundable bottles and cashing them in for a quart of chocolate milk and a a pair of twinkies.  Your parents told you right from wrong. You became disciplined and truly believed in democracy because your country was respected and was revered by all nations. I still remember President Eisenhowers speeches about how important education was for our nation. I still to this day, remember  President Kennedy's speech" I am a Berliner".  I remember the day JFK got killed>  Our teacher told us to stop everything and go to our seats. She had something very important to say "Our President has been seriously shot". It seems from that day on America changed. Unfortunately, logic and critacal thinking has not been a strong point for you and a lot of your generation.  Greed,Power,Drugs, Accountability and making war is the battle cry. Negotiation,and Peace do not seem to be on our country's agenda .
