Just remember Frank, as interest rates rise (which will start soon) the value of the bond fund will fall so you ned to think long term or you will be disappointed. CDs are still out there in the 5.25% range on 5 year and I would go with that. If you need the cash and cash out the bond fund you will IMO take a worse hit than the CD. Ken
