I can understand your confusion.
Like many, I registered as a Republican when I got a good job and started piling away my cash.....for many reasons which you can probably identify with considering this was some many years ago.
Unlike many, I then adopted a philosophy of not voting for someone simply because they had an "R" next to their name on the ballot. I have, however, voted for more Republicans than Democrats during my lifetime.
What probably makes you most confused is my apparent critical comments in regards to Bush.
That is easily explained. I believe this administration is the most feckless and lawless in my lifetime. Well....perhaps not as feckless as Carter, but certainly more lawless than Nixon.
