Quick survey:  if you care to share, what is your main reason for participating on the various and sundry M* fora? 

Here's mine:  When you work out of your home, there are many advantages to it.  But one thing you do lose is the casual water cooler factor i.e. gossip, quick exchange of ideas, camaraderie.  These boards become my equivalent when I need a break. Also, on a message board you can talk about subjects in which the people in your real life may have little or no interest.

What do you get most from posting your posts here or on any other boards on which you may participate?  Knowledge, variety of opinions, place to vent, or good wicked, oops, clean fun?

If the answer is "nothing at all," well, you wouldn't still be here reading this, would ya?
