Is that a non answer for what he is currently holding, or is he constantly churning his portfolio?

I would assume any small gains he gets from churning will be more than offset from the prior losses, hence low impact on the tax front.  I think he is going for small gains and bargin shopping on cheap stocks.. 

Could he be going intl?

Cars,  China likes big american cars,  so does Dubai,  I read Toyota is trying to get into Russia..  So, maybe American cars are desired where there is cheap gas...
