After reading your posts again Jerry, I believe you are down 20% in your indexed equity holdings?  Under that scenario I would probably hold on also, I see where you are coming from.

Actually Fred, I've been saving at a high rate and doing a lot of "buying low". I'm less than 10% down (personal rate of return) in equity holdings (child's play) from the S&P high best I can figure (I don't waste a lot of time figuring such things). I plan to buy this market all the way to the bottom and profit from doing so in the long run. I stick with my AA of 75/25 although I have trouble holding back in the buying low approach. Hence I'm a bit higher in stock holdings.

Is this is a contest of snide remarks? I'll assume not for now. You're right, we all have different routes to "Doublin" as you say.
