 I never got interested in CEFs personally. Though have considered these several times, but never had a good reason to own these. I try to stay away from any specialized product from financial markets. In ETF land I find more interesting or specialized plays than CEFs.

I was very much interested in Nuveen's income fund for getting some exposure to covertibles/ preferred stocks - found vanguard convertibles fund instead (still don't own any but considering).
