PK, and all who've replied in this or other threads:  First off, much thanks - and...apologies for duplication from prior posts...I had a difficult time re-locating earlier threads in which i'd posted variations of this question.  Yes - I have been engaged in a subtle - maybe overt - form of avoidance and aversion to self managing the portfolio. I do have time management problems and have simply gotten too complacent or lazy in leaving things as they are with the annual managed arrangement i've describing wanting out of.  I know - "make up your mind Mike!" right?  Blame it on my A.D.D. perhaps.

I appreciate as well thoseprior recommendations about possible hourly planning resources which i've revisited - Garrett advisors may well be the right fit if i don't just get it together to chill out and do this thing on my own again.

As to the immediate matter of running my own portfolio, yes I need to review the investing essentials blog. Meantime I would be more than happy to provide specifics of my situation and portfolio holding info.  at right now and would welcome opinions on how i might tweak or rearrange anything myself after dropping the Schwab advisors.

I truly appreciate everyones' incredible generosity and sensibility in these forums.  If it isn't too much to ask, in the next day or so, i will go ahead and post a breakdown of my funds & positions along with the other pertinent goal info and would be most grateful to hear feedback and opinions.  That would be a huge help and again, Thanks one and all.
