The TA Thread started between UH and myself here because that was where I tended to post the most. We had both started T/A about the same time and it was a way to discuss what we were learning. The first T/A thread ran for several months and was hundreds of posts long. Eventually it became monthly and evolved into what it is today. I think it was the culture of this Forum that made it possible. Erryl and others before UH and I had created an atmosphere of polite constructive discussion and help for other investors. It is not easy to transplant that openness and warmth to a different locale.
