PressmUP- Media Matters...get real :)))))))  How can you consider a site whose mission statement is to systematically monitor a cross section of print, broadcast, cable, radio, and Internet media outlets for conservative misinformation — news or commentary that is not accurate, reliable, or credible and that forwards the conservative agenda, as being an unbiased source.

FactCheck.org and PolitiFact.com are pretty good for fact checking specifc statements and political advertisments, I haven't really found a good source for general media bias that isn't connected to a political agenda. If anyone knows of one, please share.

I knew that the Media Matter link would draw a reaction.

Media Matters does not claim to be non-partisan or unbiased. One thing I do like about the site is that transcripts, links and video are generally provided to back up their statements. It's generally difficult to dispute facts when it's there for the world to see...as in the story I linked to.

The links you provided I also find to be good.

As for the lack of coverage of Obama's early races...I agree with you on that point as well. And is there more Obama than McCain coverage? Yes....but not favorable coverage.
