I need to buy a new set.  I don't have much of a stereo - just a big boom box with a 3 cd changer, but it's all i really need.

I was thinking of maybe getting wireless headphones, but i don't want to spend a lot.  And if you go to the kitchen to make a fresh drink, does the signal carry through a wall? 

I looked at some wired headphones at Amazon, but they all had 10 foot cords.  I'd want one with a 20 or 30 foot cord so i could go to the kitchen or whatever & keep them on.  Any suggestions would greatly appreciated.         Bullwinkle
