The best response I've seen in awhile SC!
BTW, this is not as much a question of free speech as it is a question of common decency. It is, in fact it is a question of who is OPPOSED to free speech - who simply wishes to shout down opposition. This is the kind of thing we see on university campuses on an almost weekly basis.
Here is a question for all: Assuming Obama is elected, he will give HIS first 4th of July speech as president on July 4th 2009.
Who will try to shout down that speech?
A. An libertarian who disagrees with Obama's high-tax, collectivst economic positions?
B. A far right conservative deeply concerned about Obama's foreign and defense policies?
C. A racist who simply does not like a (part) African American as president?
D. A leftist (perhaps from Code Pink) who feels Obama is not being leftist, or anti-war, ENOUGH?
Think about it a minute, and you will have your answer :-)
