Hookm, you're missing the whole point of this thing. Atrocities were committed in Vietnam by US soldiers, but they were not done as a result of US policy, as charged by John Kerry, who, by the way, confessed to committing war crimes. John Kerry accused the US of committing murder. John Kerry accused the US of violating the Geneva Convention. John Kerry accused the entire US chain of command of knowingly condoning  atrocities. Research those accusations while you are at it.
