I know the US likes to take credit for winning WW2 ,well even that is questionable ,given that the enemy, as well as the allies had been fighting the war to the point of exhaustion long before the US even entered it.It's like saying you won a boxing match with an opponent that had already gone 18 rounds.
In my opinion, the U.S. played a pivotal role in the allies victory in WW2. The U.S. provided the allies resources that enabled them to make it to the 18th round. They would have been knocked out quickly if the U.S. hadn't have done this. Then we finally stepped up and quickly knocked out the axis. The U.S. citizens sacrificed their way of life and the U.S. used all their resources to destroy the axis. You should give credit where credit is due.
