Thin film solar cell technology snowflake  06-29-2008, 3:10 AM | Post #2533751

I recall just the bare bones with no details, Ken, but there's a company, based in California I believe, which is in the process of perfecting large scale production of solar cells using a thin, flexible plastic film onto which the current producing substrate is literally 'printed' thus enabling large scale, high speed production of cheap, durable and easily installed solar cells.  If this proves viable it might be THE long sought breakthrough which makes solar technology economically viable and therefore a gold mine for ground floor investors.

Peace and love,

Flakey
