This fund, as with so many balanced funds, cant really fit into a portfolio with other funds as it is a self-contained portfolio on its own... when you buy a balanced fund, you are really not getting anything out of your management fee unless you give the fund all of your money and let the manager allocate it... that is how they are designed to work, and if you go against that you are really wasting your management fee... folks who try and patch together a "portfolio" of balanced funds, stock funds, bond funds etc are really just assembling a collection of funds which they perceive as being possible winners without consideration to how they fit into a well designed and strategically functional overall portfolio for themselves...
