Now you're simply building strawmen....neither Obama, the "libs" or I ever sanctioned giving the Islamic extremeists everything they wanted.

My sole point is in regards to our foreign policy, and its intended or perhaps unintended consequences. This is obviously pertinent in regards to presidential politics.

Every candidate and eventual President has things that they 1) do well, 2) do okay, and 3) do poorly at. Setting the bar low, I vote based upon who I think can maximize #''s 1 and 2, and minimize #3.

Limiting this conversation to foeign policy, I believe Obama has the advantage over McCain.....not necessarily because I know what Obama will do, but because what I have a fair certainty what McCain WILL do....and that's a continuation of what I believe is a failed foreign policy strategy.
