Comparing FBALX (stock/bond balanced fund) to PRPFX (conservative asset allocation fund) is sort of like comparing apples and oranges, though they have almost identical 10-year annualized returns of 9.5% and 9.4%, respectively, according to Money magazine (Feb. 2008). However, I wouldn't want a 30% position in either fund. Remember, too, PRPFX holds 24.25% of its assets in gold and silver. I think you could combine other asset allocation and bond funds that deliver better returns and higher yield.
