A couple questions I have been thinking about:
1. What role might El-Erian's new fund at PIMCO play in individual investors' implementations of his portfolio suggestions?
2. The ability of Morningstar's X-ray tool to analyze foreign and commodity funds and indexes is quite limited. With my current portfolio, I already receive a message "your portfolio is too heavily geared toward foreign stocks for us to provide an evaluation ...", and I am less than 50% foreign equities. In my "test" portfolios, DJP (iPath Dow Jones-AIG) and similar funds show up in the asset allocation pie-chart as "not classified." I wonder if M* could be persuaded to do more with foreign/global and commodity funds?
