sensei- Actually, the M* Politics forum seems pretty tame to me compared to most of the other political forums out there. Shucks, in the last week, I've called Obama an evil corn god, a president that will have a Handicapper General cabinet level position, the instigator of the Korean Mad Cow protests; and couldn't get a rise out of any of you Obama supporters :)  

I did watch an interview with Powell not long ago. I think it was The Travis Smiley Show, and he did mention how proud he was of Obama for breaking through the glass ceiling, and I'm sure he is angry about the attacks on Michelle Obama. I still think it will come down to Powell either remaining quiet, or endorsing the person he believes is best suited to lead the country. I think he is too patriotic to endorse someone because of spite. I hope so anyways.
