Re: Bush & Stock Market? -- One more failure. pining4Lenore  06-26-2008, 4:37 PM | Post #2532923

The thread is about Bush and the stock market.

The record is undeniable.     The first 7 1/2 years of the Bush presidency have been a "D-" (that is being generous).  Especially compared to Bill Clinton.

Yet the posters here from  the Fox/Fixed News corner want to ignore that.  Bush is not responsible for the bad things. Only the good things.  The buck never quite stops at 1600 Pennsylvania, huh?  Unless its a Dem.  Am certain were Clinton's and Bush's stock market records reversed, we would be hearing about the wonders of Bush-O-nomics.   Well gang.  It has not worked.

(And shall we talk about Bush and the 60% increase in Federal indebtedness this loser has racked up!!)

When the historical records conflicts with the right-wing Fixed News idiotology, toss the record, and "stay on script".

I like John McCain.  John McCain is a friend of mine (OK, not really, but he could be).   But the biggest argument for voting for Obama are the extreme partisan-types who have drunk the Kool-Aid  and say (believe?) what is just contrary to reality...
