Thanks, MasterPlan. But I'm not really a Bear (well, maybe a little  :-)). More like a trend trader over long periods. (My next question would be "What will lead us out of the desert?" )

Anyways, it looks like we'll have to wait a little bit more to see it the pattern above completes. Many think it will and - as I said earlier - we might go lower. Who knows.

What I don't like is that there seems no safe haven/diversification - except to "bet" (hedge,short, etc) that the market goes lower - around the globe. GLD was up 3.5% or so today - but do people really buy that much GLD to protect their whole portfolio?

Well, time will tell. (I love those old cliches)
