having visited most of the countries represented in tramx - i see far less risk than others are anticipating and tremendous stability in some of the countries.

I work and travel in these countries regularly.  My "region" includes the GCC (U.A.E., Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi) as well as Lebanon, Jordan and Syria; and North Africa (Egypt, Libya, Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco).  [In addition: Greece, Turkey, Malta, Cyprus; India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka; and Iraq, Afghanistan.]

I don't see "tremendous stability" or "far less risk" in any of them.  Tremendous growth, yes; but not stability.
