I think that people should be watching bank's
dividend payout ratios
before jumping to safe or not safe conclusions. Banks that spot payouts of over 60% should be really taken cautiosly. Surprisingly enough however,
USB
has a DPR of 70%.. I own WL, CINF, CBSH, CB, MTB from financials.
