Oh, no, Cliff. You bailed out of CSE, too? I'm still hanging tough with my 'problem children' (including ACAS, BAC, CSE), steadfastly determined to break the Buy High, Sell Low pattern I've developed over the years. Yeah, yeah, it isn't clear that CSE will be able to maintain a $0.60 dividend with ~$0.50/quarter earnings, but (at least as of today), I am inclined to ride out the turmoil in the financial sector, rather than trying to time an exit/re-entry strategy. A strong case could be made for having done that last August, but I missed that window --"transfixed with indecision", to borrow statguy's phrase. I'm now counting on a 'reversion to the mean' with prices, but who knows how long that will take. I'm also counting on the dividends rebounding after their (inevitable?) slashing.
Cheers,
George
I feel better now. I've been DCA'ing down in 100 share lots in hopes of making that low point, and then selling the rest as it goes back up (the goal being a single 100 share lot at the lowest possible price).
