So you have the CD/ bonds covered,, The rest for growth and income in 5 yrs... I rather see 5 to 6 funds,

  • 15% Global bonds
  • 20% in BRIC, 2 funds min (PRLAX, EUROX as examples)
  • 20% global balanced
  • 20% LC US market
  • 25%  your choice
