Do the managers of all of the funds that you own invest in their fund? Just a simple yes or no please.

Are only the people that invest in Vanguard funds members of a cult or does this also encompass those that own other fund families?

You make it sound as if the millions of knowledgeable investors that believe in index funds are fools which, IMHO, seems very foolish to me.
