Oppenheimer is a loaded fund family with average to above averages expenses.  She could have done better with Vanguard, Fidelity or TRPrice funds (in my opinion).  Without knowing what fund she is in, it's hard to comment about her investment.  Using one's accountant to pick funds, is probably not the best approach.

Picking something safe, I would use a money market, or a bond index fund.
