Racqueteer:What I'm most afraid of is getting greedy and jumping in with both feet too early. As long as I'm holding cash, I'm not sweating the drops. I think we'll look fine in a year.
I probably started DCA'ing in too soon but CDs and MMFs were paying so little and I want out of my intermediate term bond funds but wasn't ready yet to move the money into short term bond fund. I thought I could wait a bit to do that. Now I am seeing even short term bond funds lose NAV. Earning dividends and seeing the NAV of my equity/balanced funds decrease but clinging to the hope that they will rebound in a year seems like the lesser of all the evil choices there are.
